Director of Golf
Pete assumed the duties as just the third Director of Golf in the history of the Wade Hampton Golf Club in 2004. Pete has 25+ years of experience as a PGA club professional serving as an assistant at Farmington CC in Charlottesville, VA, as the head golf professional at the prestigious New Orleans Country Club for over nine years and as the head golf professional of the Roanoke Country Club in Roanoke, VA. He has worked extensively with a number of outstanding players and his students have competed in national junior amateur, amateur, and significant professional events. Pete has a well-balanced combination of merchandising skills, personnel management, tournament coordination and playing ability to compliment his teaching skills. Pete, his wife Bond, and their two children Reilly, and Parker, reside in Clemson, SC. Pete is an alumnus of Mississippi State University.
